Il bene e il male. Good and Evil.
La luce e le tenebre. Light and Darkness.
Ogni cosa offre Everything offers
un doppio aspetto a double aspect
come Giano Bifronte. like Janus Bifrons.
Ogni cosa si combina Everything is combined
con l’altra with the other
per generarne una nuova. to generate a new one.
A volte splendida. Sometimes magnificent;
A volte terribile. sometimes terrible.
Il bene e il male. Good and Evil.
La luce e le tenebre. Light and Darkness.
Spesso si confondono. They are often merged.
Vivono insieme. They often live together.
L’una si attorciglia con l’altra One coils itself with the other
come una serpe sul ramo like a snake on a branch
Così come il tramonto. like the sunset,
Così come l’alba: like the dawn:
non è ancora giorno it’s not yet day
non è più notte. it’s no longer night.
Nessuno è completamente No one is completely
nella luce. in the Light.
Nessuno è completamente No one is completely
nelle tenebre. in the Darkness.
Camminiamo su un filo We walk on a tightrope
come un acrobata del Circo. like an acrobat of the Circus.

A quale apparterrò oggi? To which one will I belong today?
